Martens Metal Design Group formed in 2010 when Teri Martens took an industrial welding class with her husband, Marv, to help in his car restoration hobby. She started making flowers and owls from scrap metal and most of her early works were given away. She did a small gallery show in August 2013 and then participated in a RAW Art Event in September of that year and in 2014 she was invited to join the Noyes Art Gallery in Lincoln, NE. Martens still enjoys consistent sales through the gallery and special shows held there and she completes many private commissions each year.
